Ağıryürüyen ve Eraslan 2009’dan bu yana ortak çalışıyor. Müzikal anlayışlarının birbirini tamamlayıcı paralelliği, hızla uzun yollar kat eden bir uyumun, güzel bir maceranın tetikleyicisi oldu. İlk projeleri “Sert Sessizler” ilk kez 2010 İsmet Sıral Yaratıcı Müzik Atölyesi kapsamında Eminönü Üstgeçidi’nde şehrin seslerini yorumladı, çeşitli festivallere katıldı. Serbest doğaçlama ekseni etrafında dönerken geleneksel müzikleri ve kendi bestelerini de yörüngesinde barındıran ikili, bugüne kadar birçok farklı çalışmada farklı müzisyenlerle konserler verdi. Duo has been created in the summer of 2009 when Anıl and Sumru met in İstanbul. Their complementary musical approach gave the idea to work together as duo. The unique meeting of the voice and the cello is not only a composition of this two instruments but also a various texture of the ‘sound’ which can be more than itself. On the axis of free improvisation, their music is travelling around simple melodies, noise, organic textures and rhythmical structures. Besides, they are also interpreting some compositions and traditional tunes. So far, they worked on many different projects and they gave many concerts. In the summer of 2010, with their duet, they participated to ‘Ismet Sıral Creative Music Studio’ which was one of the most important events of ISTANBUL 2010 European Capital of Culture, in 2011 they participated in Klasik Keyifler Festival in Cappadocia. Sert Sessizler collaborated also with many other musicians. They have three albums, Sert Sessizler/Harsh Consonants (2012), and EPs called Oniki/Twelve, L’ombelico del Gigante (2016). https://sertsessizler.bandcamp.com/releases
